Kevin Todd - 2010 Three Peaks Challenge Team
Kevin Todd, aged 29 from Marford. Currently living in the Fairways off Hold Road, Wrexham and have been for the last 3 years.
I’m the one out of the lads who loves views (yes I know it’s a bit sad) and taking photos. I know Hugh really likes me taking photos so he can put them on Facebook and claim he took them.
I’m really looking forward to the challenge of the 3 peaks and the banter with all the lads although I’m not particularly looking forward to the smell of the mini bus. The combination of sweaty feet, munching on Russell’s vindaloo and a visit from our old mate Bobby Orange in the confinement of a mini-bus is enough to make anyone want to rush up a mountain in search of fresh air. I’m also a little concerned about keeping up with Wyn, a.k.a. ‘‘Mini Brian’’. Although Wyn will do very little training he will be leading the troops from the front trying to break the world record for doing the 3 peaks in the fastest possible time. The highlight for me will be standing at the top of Ben Nevis having a moment, by which time the lads will be halfway down ready to tackle Scarfell!
I would like to wish my compadres the very best of luck. It’s going to be a tough 24 hours but we’re all in it together. I would also like to thank Wyn for organizing the event; once again he’s done an excellent job.
Please give generously as the money is going to two very worth while charities.
Many Thanks - Kev
