Chris Newman - Now living in Manchester but never very far away from the familiarities of Gresford
I'm currently working as a Design Engineer and am also studying for a Masters at Manchester University. Although the football boots have now been hung up, I still enjoy going to the gym and the prospect of climbing 3 mountains in 24 hours has certainly put more emphasis on the need to get there a bit more often! If that fails though the back-up plan is to jump on a sledge, tie it to Wyn and tell him that one of the Airbus’ planes has broken down at the top. He should have us both at the summit in about 5minutes I reckon!
Looking forward to taking on the challenge with some of my best mates in the memory of a great friend who is always missed and with the aim of raising lots of money for 2 very worthwhile charities. Hopefully we’ll also have a bit of a laugh on the way.
